Images Created For SportsTalk 790
Michael Brantley & Jason Castro Return
After is was reported that Michael Brantley and Jason Castro were returning to the Astros, I created this graphic. I incorporated the Astros’ blue and orange and as well as the SportsTalk red to convey where the image was coming from. I included the most basic information that I believed a viewer who was just scrolling would need and included the details of the deals in the caption of the post for those who wanted more information.
Deshaun Watson on Texans
For 2021, I created a template to be used across a variety of stations that use that stations’ colors. The picture used is either of person the quote is attributed to or the subject of the quote. In this case, it is Deshaun Watson talking about what he believes the Texans needs. The colors used are the SportsTalk colors; red, white, and black.
ALWC: Astros vs Twins
This is the graphic I created for the 2020 Wild Card series between the Houston Astros and Minnesota Twins. Since the series could have ended in two games, I chose to keep the graphic simple and only included the information that needed to be conveyed. This graphic was posted across SportsTalk 790’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts.
ALDS: Astros vs A’s
This is the graphic I created for the 2020 ALDS between the Houston Astros and Oakland Athletics. I chose to make this graphic a little bit more involved. I added texture and changed the background color to match the Astros’ orange. I also included the image of a player that made an impact in the previous game. This graphic was posted across SportsTalk 790’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts..
ALCS: Astros vs Rays
This is the graphic I created for the 2020 ALCS between the Houston Astros and Tampa Bay Rays. I made slight changes between the ALDS graphic and the ALCS graphic. I started using the team logos instead of text and featured the Astros player more predominantly. This graphic was posted across SportsTalk 790’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts..
Houston Sports Wall of Shame
The Sean Salisbury Show (SportTalk 790’s morning show) was talking about who was on their Houston Sports Wall of Shame. I head the conversation and thought it would be a good idea to make a graphic about it and post on social. The show listed various individuals who were on their Wall of Shame, but rather than include them all in the graphic, I left a space open as I thought it would be a perfect opportunity for engagement from listeners and followers.
Houston Rockets Back-to-Back Titles
This graphic was created in celebration of the Houston Rockets 25th anniversary of their back-to-back championship titles. The station was going to “re-live the magic” by having Rockets guests throughout the day, so this graphic was meant to inform listeners of that.
